History: Aelar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Merchant. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Merchant responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He takes great joy in being the best Jeweler in town.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His childhood dream was to be a Laborer, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Naeris was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he feels threatened by others
