History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Uthemar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Mindartis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. Mindartis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Spy but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Azaki and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is content

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Spice Merchant who has hired him part-time. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rael grew up listening to his father's many stories. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered giants who tried to eat his hand. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end.

Personality: Korfel hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A freak accident while working with his Dilettante mother left him crippled. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He is greedy; and to share knowledge with the world
