History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Thervan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
