History: Born to a Slave Trader, his mother struggled to pay the bills. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Thervan was born the youngest of three triplets. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Efferil was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Butcher. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Efferil never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
