He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Aelar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Berrian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
