History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Painter for the past few years.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His childhood dream was to be a Crown-heir, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Miller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and his religion dominates his actions
