Personality: Heian speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and many goblins want him driven away

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears white robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a warhammer, but if one is not available he will default to his bow. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Uthemar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Uthemar. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His golden hair is heavily combed to the right. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Enialis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Brewer. He has worked as a Brewer like his father before him.

Motivation: To be a Mortician again.

His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
