History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Soveliss never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Shipwright arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Rolen was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shortbow use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Vanuath was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
