History: Varis hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

History: Peren was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. When Peren reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Theren was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
