Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears baggy green pantaloons and a black scarf. He wears his silver hair up in a very large beehive style do. His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Interpreter profession.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Varis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Varis decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He now owns his own business.

He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He wears a deerstalker hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Sage business.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His black hair is still thick. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to be a mercenary again

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Elven compassion.
