History: The child of a Bounty Hunter, who enjoyed hunting, Thervan was taken on many hunting expeditions. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thervan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Carrie alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Raer hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Raer has worked very hard to control his curse. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
