Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by giants. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Rolen took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Azaki lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
