History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Shipwright father left him crippled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Varis hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. After coming to the age of reason, Varis took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Varis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
