History: He was born into a rich family. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Quarion fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
