Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Lamlis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Gifted from a young age, Lamlis studied abroad. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Lamlis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
