History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He now owns his own business.
