History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adran grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adran. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature dagger.
