Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A freak accident while working with his Seamstress father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
