Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Laborer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Healer, and he later adopted a second son.
