Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Arannis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Adran was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Detective. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. After months of barely getting by, Paelias managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
