History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Erdan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miller. He's also a talented Shipwright, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His childhood dream was to be a Bather, but he was a colossal failure. He has worked as a Shoemaker like his mother before him.

History: Nim lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has achieved small success as a Sellsword.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and doesn't want to be a sellsword and was forced into it by his family

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He worked as a nervous Slave Trader and found it very stressful. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new slave trader responsibilities is difficult
