To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Efferil. History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Tharivol wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Gifted from a young age, Tharivol studied abroad. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and money/treasure

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 98. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Uthemar was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
