Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a brown costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. He wears a colorful flower in his chestnut hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Quarion does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Scribe and occasionally as a mercenary.

Description: A 5'3" southern man, he wears a pastel vest and prefers yellow and green shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His silver hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His violet eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born in the south. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He worked as a nervous Sage and found it very stressful. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Bather business.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
