History: Born to a Armorer, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Varis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mortician hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
