History: Heian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Hadarai was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to be a assassin again

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

With a patchy silver beard and wild silver hair. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
