History: Heian was born with his mother's beautiful face. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has achieved small success as a Locksmith.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Locksmith responsibilities is difficult; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Paelias was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
