History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ahvain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Born in the west to a Herbalist, Himo learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
