History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Azaki was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fisher. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ahvain alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Ahvain was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
