History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Korfel was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Merchant. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
