Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Varis's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. The war was a terrible time for him, and Varis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When Varis reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He tends to his Navigator job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. After months of barely getting by, Raer managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born in a small island village. After coming to the age of reason, Adran took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Butcher. He's also a talented Body Guard, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
