History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Efferil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Guard father left him crippled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born in the north. Uthemar was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Soapmaker. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to reunite with his old friends
