History: He got into the Stableman business at a young age. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Scribe. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hadarai grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hadarai. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: He was born in the west. Naal abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
