Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heian grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: This man stands a little under 5'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He has a large grey mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his black robe. With bright red hair and a scraggly beard. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Heian was born the youngest of three triplets. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born in the east to a Stableman, Varis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
