History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Koeth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Koeth and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a spice merchant and was forced into it by his family

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town.
