History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Arannis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Arannis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Nutae was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Nutae decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
