One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Soveliss was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Soveliss's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
