History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Banker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Banker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he wants revenge against goblins
