History: Paelias lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Paelias was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Paelias's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Laucian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Laucian was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Barber. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His childhood dream was to be a Barkeep, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bather for hire.

His black hair is braided into rings. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Bookbinder. He uses divination through singing.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dreali grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dreali. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He bought a quarterstaff and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and retire the richest man in the north
