He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. After a long history of fighting, Caeldrim and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Laucian embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Born in the east to a Gardener, Laucian learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Gardener. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest man in the east
