History: Paelias was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Gardener.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His silver hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thamior fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His childhood dream was to be a Crown-heir, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Crown-heir. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: Ivellios was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
