History: Berrian was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Berrian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Berrian. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Traki was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He worked as a nervous Bookbinder and found it very stressful. Being a Bookbinder kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult.
