History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Varis was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Brewer. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother').
