History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against dire rats

History: Born to a Fortune-teller, his father struggled to pay the bills. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
