History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aelar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Arannis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Arannis decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. History: He was born into a rich family. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Mindartis was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere.
