Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Thervan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born to a Ploughman, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
