History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Paelias was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, and his gloved hand is found clutching a pickaxe. His hair is white and curly. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
