History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: Born in the south to a Tanner, Quarion learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman, marred by sweets. He has red hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. A true patriot, Lamlis would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Lamlis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
