History: Halimath lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Halimath grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Halimath. Being a Mercenary kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Theren was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.
