He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Paelias lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
