History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Ruler. He became a Ruler soon after.

The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Efferil's homeland. Efferil decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard.
